About Grandview House Marina
We are a Play-based and Art Based Structured Learning Preschool. We care for children aged 2 to 5 years and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join Kindergarten.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning and creativity, in small teacher-to-student ratios. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
We believe that each child is a true individual with special talents and unique interests, which is why our industry-leading curriculum has been designed to bring their unique talents and interests to the forefront of their learning through self-initiated learning and incorporating play-based methods for teaching practical life skills.
We know that every child matures at a different pace developmentally, and academically; which is why we’ve developed Grandview House Marina with small class sizes and special individual attention at the heart of our teaching philosophy.

Who We Are
We decided to do things a bit differently at Grandview House Marina by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children can explore the world around them.
We believe that a school should be an extension of each child's family. A safe and supportive environment where parents and our child care staff work together to give your child the loving environment they need to grow.
Children have the opportunity to explore, experience, and express themselves through interactive play. They learn from interactions with their peers, and the gentle guidance of loving teachers steers them in the direction of cooperation and kindness. Daily interactions and redirection build resiliency and significantly improve self-esteem.
Extra-Curricular Activities
in addition to providing age-specific educational resources, our school offers a range of extracurricular activities for our students through morning and afternoon sessions from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including an enriching curriculum for toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten.
We also offer an after-school club for our students, starting after 3:30 in the afternoon, with the latest pick-up at 5:30 pm. We offer a well-balanced snack, and children are welcome to all facility equipment, indoors and outdoors. Teachers will engage students in art activities, dance, and other group exercises. Our After School Program is a great opportunity for students to conclude their day in an enriching and safe environment.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our center.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
